I just wanted to give you a little update! In January I decided to expand my Virtual Assistant business. I was always getting requests from entrepreneurs wondering if I had time to help them with their behind the scenes business… So of course my brain got to working and I decided to create Cakewalk Lifestyle Management Solutions aka Team Cakewalk! Business is great and I LOVE the connections I am making with like minded entrepreneurs.
As I was diving into really becoming a biz owner and expanding my biz, I discovered another passion… Coaching and Training. I absolutely LOVE helping people get to the next level. I love empowering women and moms and not allowing them to settle. You truly CAN have it all, if you want it bad enough. So in May 2015 I launched my personal brand, The Real Melissa Ceja. I offer Lifestyle Biz Coach services and trainings to help you gain the confidence you need to grow your little biz idea into something that can bring home the bacon! It’s SOOOOO fun to be able to work with people that have that hustle in them! I seriously LOVE it!
So if you are looking for business training or trying to get on that entrepreneur game, then let’s get connected on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter!
I will still be sharing my #momlife beautiful chaos here! ❤
I’m about to open up here… Like on the real. So leave your judgments at the door. I don’t want them. Have you ever felt alone? Like truly alone. You could be surrounded by people but maybe those people don’t … Continue reading →
The Young Living Everyday Oils kit got a makeover!
Now the Everday Oils kit, which is part of the Premium Starter Kit comes with Stress Away and Melaleuca Alternifolia (Mel-A or T-Tree)! These 2 oils replace Peace & Calming and Valor. You might wonder… WHY!? Well due to such high demand for awesomeness, Young Living had a shortage of some of the main components of each of those and members and customers weren’t able to order them. SOOO to better serve their customers they made an adjustment to the super popular Everyday Oils kit and swapped them out with equally awesome oils. This actually makes the Everyday Kit even more awesome because there is now an oil that can help you with skin issues. I think that is what was a little lacking in the kit before… Mel-A is awesome for skincare.
I absolutely love that Young Living takes the customers’ needs into consideration and makes changes to better serve them. I LOVE THAT!
If you haven’t checked these out yet, I seriously don’t know why you haven’t! Maybe they are just too confusing and out there? I don’t know but I want to help. Holler at me! I will answer any questions you have. Also if you are ready to start incorporating these bad boys into your life, check out the Getting Started page! (I need to update the Everyday Oils kit info, but this is relatively new info so bare with me!)
I LOVE Fall! Like love it! I thought I would share this super easy DIY sugar scrub that is perfect for fall! One of my fav scents of fall is of course the warm smell of cinnamon! This scrub uses Young Living’s Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil which “is thought to promote healthy cardiovascular and immune function, and acts as an antiseptic.” Soooo BOOM! Yummy scrub that’s good for your body too!
So can we just take a minute to talk about the Young Living Grand Convention going on this week. HOLY. COW! I so wish I was there! Thank GOODNESS my awesome team is rocking it with updates! Get this… today … Continue reading →

So I’ve been thinking about this for some time… The golden question: How do I make time for me?
As a mom and wife does that even exist? Is it necessary? Is it selfish?
I don’t flippin’ know! I have been juggling the pseudo-single mom life this past year since my hubbs travels quite often for work and the alone time is few and far between. I feel like it’s my duty to be there for the boys even more to compensate for the other half being gone. They feel it… I feel it. They are stressed… I am stressed.
Often I feel that my non-mommy friends don’t understand why I can’t hang out when they can or I can’t go to dinner because frankly I just don’t have the energy to deal with a screaming tired 2 yr old that is fighting with his older brother.
But as I type this I wonder to myself if I am doing an injustice to all of us by not taking time to myself when I can. Surely me being stressed and overly tired does no good for anyone. So I guess if I could change one thing about myself… I’d change priority for myself.
So now that I’ve talked myself into it… Where’s my nail technician with my glass of wine?!
If I woke up to $1 mil… Well I sure as heck would hope I didn’t over sleep on that day!
First thing I would do would be to pay off EVERYTHING and all debt. Can you imagine that feeling?… AMAZE-Balls!
Then I would make a very fast call to my fav real estate peeps and get a nice new house (nothing too extravagant, but new or remodeled) in Seattle and San Diego and set a record for the fastest real estate transactions ever. There MUST be palm trees in the yard in San Diego. MUST!
Then I would put any remainder if there were any on Visa Gift Cards so I could spend it later. 😉 Is that cheating? It may be. Whateva.
I’d probably also splurge on this AWESOME Young Living kit that I have had my eyes on since I started using these bad boys… Check out this beauty: Aroma Complete. Can you imagine the things I could do with all them oils! Gives me gooseybumps!
Now that I am totally thinking about palm trees and oil kits… Off to dreamland.
