A quick run down of the ingredients this morning… Kale, Red Leaf Lettuce, Tomatoes, Carrots, Celery, Cucumber, Apple, Lemon and Ginger. The amount above was split in 2’s (Hubby & I). Overall taste wasn’t too bad at all!
Just remember what’s on the inside is what counts! 😉
We love cooked broccoli! Call us weird but we really do! I’m not sayin’ I would normally choose some broc over a fatty steak but right now it’s what I’ll take! Steamed a bit, throw some pepper and lemon on it and DONE!
We were still a bit hungry so we decided to make a Late Night Juice. These are the ingredients… I was hoping for a bloody mary/V8 style juice. CAUTION: when using jalapenos (or any hot pepper)… REMOVE THE SEEDS AND RIBS! YOWZA!!! SPPPICYYY! But drinkable…
Overall Day 1 of Operation System Reboot was a success! It was good… No complaints really. Other than fighting a few carby salty crunchy cravings. We even decided to see how long we can go with out eating meat. Of course, we will supplement with protein powder.
We also weighed ourselves this morning… Of course a woman never tells her weight but I think a realistic goal for Operation System Reboot would be 20lbs. The hubby is shooting for 30. (I secretly know he can do this!) Men seem to always lose it faster.
I was telling a coworker today, if I could get anything out of the next 30 days, it would be to just feel good again! It’s only been one day but I got my eye on that prize baby!
Now off to bed before the sweet/salty cravings hit!
